1992
Miroslav Miko, the current director of the company and the chairman of the board, started business as a physical entity in the office of the Cultural Centre in L. Podéště Street in Ostrava-Poruba.
1993
Miroslav Miko extended his team of employees with first-class professionals in the field of lifting devices who had dealt in some state-owned companies in the region before.
1994
As one of the pioneers, we started installations of hydraulic lifts in the Czech Republic and since that time we have installed over 400 hydraulic lifts of various sizes and designs.
1997
The company was transformed to the stock company of LIFTCOMP a.s. Another very important step is the decision of the company management on starting of production of complete lift devices and lifting platforms.
1998 - 1999
We built the branch in Karviná and thus we extended technical preparation and production capacities.
2000
We moved to the building of SBD Poruba, Na Svobodě Street, Ostrava-Martinov.
2002 - Important milestone
We started to build a completely new service and office building. The company of Bytostav Poruba a.s. had merit in fast finishing of the building.
2003 - 2004
We were given the final building approval with the production hall and subsequently with the office part of the building and we moved to new rooms where we had EVERYTHING UNDER ONE ROOF!!! DESIGNING, PRODUCTION, ASSEMBLING, SERVICE.
2005
Our new building was given the title of “The House of 2004”.
2005 - 2008
We expanded production of lift components and steel structures of lift wells. Step by step we reduced our dependency on deliveries of lift components from external suppliers by our own production.
We carried out complete deliveries of lifts and platforms for lift companies and service organizations not only for the Czech Republic, but also for Slovakia.
2009 - ANOTHER IMPORTANT MILESTONE
We started to build a new production hall in order to increase our production capacities.
We established an electric centre and we started production of lift switchboards. OUR OWN PRODUCTION COVERS 90% OF LIFT DEVICES.
Nowadays we are a stable and important company in the area of lifting devices with the certifications of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 3834 and the Exceptionality Certificate.
